about

About Geography Of November:

Geography of November is a collaborative project between Justin Wiggan from Geography of Nowhere, Dreams Of Tall Buildings and Stuart Tonge from Papa November. Together they played a slow motion match of over exited e-mails, CD exchanges and mobile texts that promised the next stage of recording will definitely happen this month.

About Nocturnal Conspiracies:

Geography of November’s Nocturnal Conspiracies is split into four movements of cross pollinated genres; concrete, down tempo electronics, field recordings and committed vocal performances. The movements, Defeatist, Exit Wounds, Rothschild and Sloth map out a narrative of dilapidated monuments, invoking false memories of Germanic tombs and fallen heroes unchanged for eternity. The lyrics depict tales of human figures appearing like frequency graveyards under snow which no man has yet set his foot upon and mausoleums in winter landscapes, stark, solemn and still.

My early recollections of short-wave numbers stations and strange radio sounds led me to adopt the name Papa November for my music and sound projects. ... more
